My boyfriend keeps telling me that childbirth hurts more if you're a virgin. He says that if I keep waiting until marriage, I'll only be hurting myself. I've told him I'm not ready to sleep with him until we're married. That's my decision, and I didn't make it lightly. But every time this topic comes up, he brings out this "childbirth" argument like it settles everything. I honestly don't know if there's any truth to it. I've heard people say it before, in church, at family gatherings and even among friends, but I've never heard a doctor say it. So I'm asking here. Have you heard this before? Is there any truth to it? And how do you handle a partner who keeps pushing after you've said no?
