Should I Expose My Cousin's Cheating Fiancée or Stay Silent Forever?

I am honestly at a breaking point, and this situation has been crushing me for the past two months. I need sincere advice because whichever choice I make could either save my cousin from a devastating mistake or tear my family apart in ways I may never be able to repair. My cousin has been engaged to his fiancée for nearly three years. Everyone in the family adores her. She is respectful, calm, well-educated, and always carries herself so gracefully. Their traditional wedding is set for three months from now, and preparations are already in full swing. Money has been spent on clothes, venue bookings, catering, and invitation cards. My cousin has never looked happier in his life. He talks about her with so much love, saying he has finally found the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with. But then I accidentally uncovered something that shattered everything I thought I knew about her. One afternoon, she asked me to help transfer some money because her banking app was not working properly. While I was trying to complete the transaction, a WhatsApp notification popped up on her screen. I was not trying to invade her privacy, but the message was right there in front of me, impossible to ignore. It said, “Don’t forget our usual lodge tomorrow. I miss you already.” At first, I thought I must have misunderstood. My heart started pounding, and before I could stop myself, curiosity took over and I opened the chat. What I found left me completely numb. The messages made it painfully clear that she is still deeply involved with her ex-boyfriend. They have been secretly meeting every Thursday after work at the same lodge. Meanwhile, she tells my cousin that Thursdays are for extra lessons because she is preparing for her professional exams. There were photos of them together in the hotel room, along with videos of them laughing, hugging, kissing, and behaving like a couple. Reading those messages made me feel sick to my stomach. I felt like the ground had disappeared beneath me. Then I discovered something even more heartbreaking. The ex-boyfriend does not even have a job. Every month, she sends him money for his upkeep. From the conversations, it became painfully obvious that the money she uses to support him comes from my cousin. My cousin gives her money believing he is helping his future wife prepare for marriage and pay for her studies, not knowing that a huge portion of it is being used to fund another man’s life. The most disturbing part is the way she speaks about my cousin. She tells her ex that my cousin is “too nice” and that he is the one paying the bills while they continue enjoying themselves behind his back. They even joked that once the wedding is over, it would be easier because no one would suspect a thing. Since that day, I have not been the same. Whenever my cousin calls me excitedly to talk about wedding plans or asks me to stand beside him as one of his closest people on the big day, guilt tears through me. I smile on the outside, but inside I feel like I am betraying him every second I stay silent. At the same time, I am terrified of speaking up. What if he does not believe me? What if she twists everything and tells him I was snooping through her phone because I wanted to destroy their relationship? What if he cuts me off completely and our bond as cousins is ruined forever? Another fear is my aunt, his mother. She has a serious heart condition and has been waiting for this wedding for years. She keeps thanking God that her son is finally settling down. If this wedding is cancelled because of what I reveal, I am genuinely afraid the shock could destroy her health. So every day, I remain silent. But that silence is eating me alive. I hardly sleep anymore. I keep picturing my cousin standing at the altar, smiling with complete trust, completely unaware that the woman beside him has been living a double life. I also keep imagining him finding out years later, after they have children, and turning to me with tears in his eyes, asking, “You knew all this time and never told me?” That question alone is enough to haunt me through the night. I do not hate this woman, and I gain absolutely nothing by exposing her. In fact, telling the truth could turn the entire family against me. But watching someone I love walk blindly into what looks like a lifetime of betrayal is something I do not know if I can live with. Please, I genuinely need advice. If you were in my position, would you tell your cousin the truth, even if it could cancel the wedding and ignite a family war? Or would you stay silent and let him discover the truth on his own someday? I feel trapped, and I honestly do not know which decision is the right one.
