I've been married for five years, and we have two beautiful children. I believed we had a stable, happy marriage. At least, that's what I thought. Last week, my sister sent me a TikTok link and asked, "Isn't this your husband?" I opened it, and my heart sank. It was my husband, living a completely different life online. In his videos, he claims he's single, says he has no children, and presents himself as a successful 28-year-old bachelor. He flirts with women in the comments, posts thirst traps, and shares "day in my life" videos from hotels—the same hotels he tells me he's staying in during work trips. The most painful part is that he has over 62,000 followers who genuinely believe he's single and available. Some women even comment things like, "That's my man," completely unaware that he has a wife and children. When I confronted him, he simply said, "It's just content. I'm trying to build a brand." A brand that erases his wife. A brand that pretends his children don't exist. A brand that edits his family out because we apparently don't fit the image he's trying to sell. Now I'm left wondering how I'm supposed to stay married to someone who proudly hides me from the world but comes home and calls me "his world." I'm not even active on social media. If my sister hadn't sent me that video, I might have continued living in ignorance while thousands of people believed my husband was a single man. Am I wrong for seriously considering divorce?
