My Husband Keeps Taking Our Marital Problems to Facebook and His Family
Good morning Eucarl readers. I am seeking advice and would appreciate it if this post could be approved and shared. I will also be grateful to be notified once it is published. I am reaching out because I am feeling emotionally drained and confused in my marriage. My husband has developed a habit of involving his family and social media whenever we have even the smallest disagreement. Instead of resolving issues privately between us, he quickly goes to Facebook to post about our relationship or reports the matter to his relatives. We have only been married for about nine months, but this pattern has already become a serious concern for me. His recent post especially upset me. He shared an animation suggesting that men are fortunate to have good wives, and the caption he added made it feel like he was indirectly expressing dissatisfaction with our marriage. Since then, people around us—his friends, family, and acquaintances—have started to notice that something is wrong between us. Whenever I try to address this with him, it often leads to another argument. During these moments, he also speaks to me in a very hurtful and disrespectful manner. What hurts me the most is that instead of us sitting down as husband and wife to resolve our issues, he chooses to involve outsiders and publicly expose our private matters. We are legally married, but we do not yet have children. At this point, I honestly feel overwhelmed and unsure of what to do next. Please, I need advice on how to handle this situation and encourage him to keep our marital issues private. This is really affecting my peace of mind, and I would appreciate any guidance.
