I Caught My Mum Cheating Twice. Now I Don't Know Whether to Break My Daddy's Heart or Keep Her Secret

I'm in my 20s, my mum is in her 40s, and I have a five-year-old sister who still thinks our home is the safest place in the world. Before COVID, the man I call Daddy paid my mum's bride price and made her his wife the right way. He is not my biological father, but he has never made me feel like a stranger in his house. He feeds us, shelters us, and has been a pillar in my mum's life. I stopped saying "stepfather" a long time ago because, to me, he is simply Daddy. In 2024, I picked up my mum's phone and my whole world shifted. The man I had always known as her "friend," her brother from another mother, was not a friend at all. The messages told a different story. My hands were shaking, but I confronted her. I told her to end it and fix her marriage, or I would tell Daddy everything. She didn't thank me. She went cold and stopped speaking to me, and the house I grew up in turned into a battlefield with no shots fired. I felt like a stranger in my own home. Slowly, painfully, we found our way back to "okay." I thought the storm had passed. Then came my birthday. My mum handed me her phone so I could reply to everyone who had wished me well, and I was smiling as I scrolled. Then I saw his number, still saved after everything I said, after everything I risked. My heart sank, and I opened the chats. They were still talking. They were still planning to meet. While I was keeping her secret and tiptoeing around my own mother to protect her marriage, she had simply carried on, and I felt like a fool. Now I look at Daddy and my chest tightens. Yes, he drinks, and I'm not pretending he is perfect. But as far as I know, he has never cheated on my mum, not once. He comes home, he provides, he laughs with my little sister, and he has no idea that the woman he trusts is making plans behind his back. Every kind word he says to her feels like a knife in my hands, because I am the one holding the truth he doesn't know he's missing. So I'm coming to you, Eucarl family. Would I be wrong to tell the man I call Daddy what my mum has been doing? And if I shouldn't tell him myself, how do I handle this without setting fire to the only family I have, and without shattering the world of a five-year-old who has done nothing wrong? I'm tired of carrying this alone. Please advise me.
