I Lost My Family to Bipolar Disorder... Now I Feel Like I Have Nothing Left

I have been living with bipolar disorder for the past four years, and honestly, it has taken almost everything away from me. It all started in 2022. I became deeply involved in religious activities and believed I had become spiritually stronger than ever before. I spent most of my time praying, fasting, attending vigils, and searching for deeper spiritual experiences. At first, I thought I had found a new purpose in life. I never imagined that what I was experiencing was actually the beginning of a mental health crisis. One day, things got so bad that my family rushed me to the hospital. I was admitted for two weeks, and after several assessments, the doctors diagnosed me with bipolar disorder. Since then, I have had several relapses because I stopped taking my medication whenever I started feeling better. Each time, I convinced myself that I had been healed or that nothing was wrong with me anymore. Sadly, I always ended up back where I started. Over the years, I have lost my motivation to work. The medication helps to keep me stable, but taking it for a long time has also affected my sexual performance, and that has left me feeling frustrated, ashamed, and depressed. The hardest part is that I have become distant from my family. My wife and our four beautiful daughters are no longer close to me, and I miss them every single day. Sometimes I sit alone wondering how my life got to this point. Right now, I have no stable income, no close family around me, and very little hope. Some days, I even question whether I am really sick or if I should stop taking my medication again. Then I remember what happened the previous times I stopped, and I become confused all over again. To be honest, there are days when I feel like I have nothing left to live for. But a small part of me still hopes that things can get better. Please, I need sincere advice. If you've been through something similar, or you know someone who has, what should I do?
