A Delicate Problem With My Girlfriend After Childbirth
Good morning Eucarl readers, I have something I want to rant about this Sunday morning. I'm a 30-year-old man. I live with my girlfriend and our 3-month-old baby, and I love them both more than I can say. She has no parents. Her aunt raised her, but the aunt chased her out of the house when she got pregnant. So she came to live with me. I don't mind at all. I have a good job, I take care of them well, and I plan to marry her soon. But there's something I don't know how to handle. Since she gave birth, there's been a strong smell coming from her private part. Even right after she bathes, it's still there. We've had sex about three times since the baby turned three months, and honestly the smell seems to be getting worse, not better. I don't want to embarrass her or make her feel less of a woman. I love her. I just don't know how to bring it up, and it's been worrying me. So I'm asking you all, men and women, three things: 1. Is it normal for a woman to have a strong, unpleasant smell down there after a normal delivery? 2. Have any men been through this with their partner after childbirth? What did you do? 3. How can I talk to her about it without offending her or making her feel ashamed? Please, stay on these three questions when you comment. I really want to handle this with love and care. I'll be reading every comment.
