I think this should be a case of either cancer or fibroid…so it’s advised to see a gynecologist(2 or more) for a better diagnosis…God will perfect his healing upon her. just be a good supportive system to her .
What type of medical tests or procedures has your friend undergone so far to diagnose the cause of her bleeding?
That is actually a very long time to be bleeding. How is she doing?
What other steps has she taken?
A visit to another hospital with more consultants will be good.
I am usually weary of hospitals where surgery is recommended without a concrete diagnosis.
You have to be a solid support system at this point.
Help dissuade her fear. Reassuring words, prayers (if you are religious) will come in handy.
Crowdfunding from family, relatives, friends and the online community will help to raise some money for whatsoever needs to be done.
I’m so sorry to hear that your friend is going through this challenging situation. It’s essential to approach the situation with empathy and support. Here’s a suggestion on how you can advise your friend:
1. Encourage her to seek a second opinion: Suggest that she consult another doctor or a specialist to confirm the diagnosis and explore alternative treatments.
2. Explore financial assistance options: Help her research organizations that provide financial aid for medical procedures or crowdfunding platforms.
3. Emotional support: Let her know that you’re there to listen and support her emotionally. Encourage her to express her fears and concerns.
4. Urge her to prioritize her health: Emphasize the importance of addressing her health issue, even if it means exploring difficult options like surgery.
5. Offer to help with research or appointments: Assist her in finding resources, making appointments, or accompanying her to doctor visits.
Remember to be a supportive and caring friend, and encourage her to take action towards resolving her health issue.
