I saw my 13 years old daughter touching herself. She’s a kid and just in JSS1. I was downstairs cooking when I suddenly felt like going up to see what my kids were doing because they were very quiet. To my greatest suprise, she was sitting on the bed with her legs wide open while she inserted her fingers and her brother’s toy simultaneously while making her brother watch her for do it

I was looking through the door for few seconds before busting in screaming. I was so sad in my heart. Doing this to herself hurts me, but I’m even more hurt she’s got her brother, who is only 7 years old involved. Now I have two problems to solve. The worse part is it’s been going on for a while after interrogating them. That’s what they said. She hasn’t mentioned who introduced her to it. She said she started doing it when the place started to itch her and she liked it..so now she does even when the place doesn’t itch. I am broken

Should I tell my husband and see how best we can handle this? I want to handle this such that she would stop for real cuz these things if not well handled, the kids do it even more but in secret

Myself, I started mastu*bating at 11 years old and when my mom b**t me for it, I hid it from her and did it even more. When I grew up, I wanted to stop but couldn’t. I didn’t date men that period because I satisfied myself .

I met my husband before I was able to stop. I struggled to stop but I eventually did. I want to handle it wisely with my daughter so she won’t turn out like me in that aspect . It’s a terrible thing to get addicted I need expert advice. Thank you.
